Sustainability

Sustainability or sustainable development is defined as 'development which meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs'.

For Clough, sustainability means delivering excellence in economic, social and environmental performance. We view sustainability as a journey, where along the way we create positive benefits for our stakeholders while reducing any negative impact.

target_zeroThe health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and the protection of the environment and the communities in which we work continue to be core values within all our operations. Our Target Zero program, which encapsulates an incident and injury free environment, involves all employees and enables each person to contribute to the safe delivery of our projects.

Supporting our people and the decisions they make, is our integrated management system, which is independently certified to ISO 14001:2004 for environmental management and AS/NZS 4801 for safety management.
