Clough awarded contract on East Udang Development Project

Engineering and construction company Clough Limited (ASX:CLO) today announced PT NuTech Dinamika Semesta of Indonesia has awarded a contract to Clough for the provision of pipelay barge Java Constructor to support the installation of six (6) new pipelines of approximately 3.5km in length each, three (3) new hydraulic control umbilical, and associated tie-ins and risers from the wellhead to Udang Alpha Platform (Udang A Platform).
The East Udang Development Project is located in Natuna Sea in water depths of approximately 100 meters and is operated by TAC Pertamina - PT Pertalahan Arnebatara Natuna (PT PAN).
"We are pleased to be returning to Indonesian waters with the Java Constructor and look forward to working closely with NuTech and ultimate client Pertamina to support their efforts to deliver this project successfully" said Clough's CEO John Smith.
The offshore installation campaign is scheduled to start in August of 2010, and will last a minimum of 35 days with opportunities for extension.
