Further details of Competing Proposal

On 1 April 2010, Forge announced that it had received a confidential, non binding, conditional competing proposal from a third party in relation to a change in control transaction with Forge. The proposal potentially competed with the transaction with Clough announced 23 February 2010.
The Forge Board has held further discussions with the proposed bidder to explore the possibility of agreeing to a superior proposal. Subsequent to these discussions, the proposed bidder has elected not to proceed further.
