Clough Limited (ASX:CLO) today announced that Mr John Cooper has resigned from the Clough Board, effective 31 January 2010, after 3 years in office.

Mr Cooper was appointed to the Clough Limited Board in August 2006 and served as Clough’s Non-Executive Deputy Chairman.  In January 2007 Mr Cooper was appointed as Clough’s Chief Executive Officer and during his interim tenure was instrumental in guiding the company through a difficult period prior to the appointment of current Chief Executive Officer John Smith.  Mr Cooper returned to the position of Non-Executive Director for Clough in August 2007.

“John has been an invaluable member of the Board during his 3-year tenure.  His knowledge and experience has been influential in repositioning Clough as an Engineering-led EPC contractor focussing on the oil and gas industry” said Mike Harding, Chairman Clough Limited.

“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank John for his contribution to Clough and wish him and his family well for the future.”
