Brisbane Flood Update
Our thoughts go out to all those people who have once again been affected by flooding in Queensland. We are currently in the process of assessing the impact of the latest floods on our staff. Any staff who have been personally impacted by these floods are asked to urgently contact Human Resources Manager Jim Wilkins (email@example.com or 0428 405 320).
Thankfully flood levels in Brisbane have not reached the peak predicted by the Brisbane City Council. Our Coronation Drive Office is now fully operational, and our Castlemaine Street office, which has been closed today, will be reopened tomorrow, Wednesday 30/1/13. Staff who have not been impacted by the floods are asked to return to work at the normal time.
While the Castlemaine office has not been flooded, on instructions from building management all movable furniture, computers and personal belongings were relocated to the upper floor. Desks and chairs will be reinstated by COB today, however personal items, pcs, documents and other desk furniture will need to be relocated back downstairs tomorrow morning by staff. Assistance will be available to move any heavy or difficult items.
Your assistance and patience is appreciated during this time.
I would like to thank all those people who donated their time during the public holiday to move items upstairs at Castlemaine Street, along with those who helped out this morning.
You can periodically check Cloughlink or our website for updates should the situation change.
Please remember to put safety first during this difficult time.
